Global premier esports & gaming organization DRX has cemented its place on the world stage with a Top 10 finish at the Esports World Cup (EWC) Club Championship held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The competition brought together more than 200 teams from around the globe, with overall club rankings determined by combined results across multiple titles.
DRX excelled across four titles - Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, PUBG Mobile, and VALORANT - earning a total of 1,550 club points to secure 10th place overall, emphasizing its strength as a multi-title international contender.

In Tekken 8, LowHigh (Sunwoong Youn) achieved 2nd Place, while Knee (Jaemin Bae) and CHANEL (Seongho Kang) showcased their caliber against the world’s top players. In Street Fighter 6, LeShar (Moonsup Shin) delivered a notable performance with a 3rd place finish. Meanwhile, the DRX PUBG Mobile squad followed up on last year’s success with another 4th place finish, standing tall among global powerhouses. Finally in VALORANT, DRX represented South Korea and battled some of the world’s strongest teams, ultimately placing 9th in the event.
This year’s success highlights DRX’s balanced achievements across multiple titles, rather than dominance in a single game, marking an important milestone in the club’s growth. Notably, DRX improved from a 23rd place finish with 260 points in the 2024 EWC Club Championship to placing in the Top 10 in 2025; a remarkable leap in global standing. With this result, DRX not only strengthened its position among the world’s elite, but also secured 600,000 USD (approx. 830 million KRW) for its 10th place EWC club finish, contributing to a total prize pool of 1,052,500 USD (approx. 1.46 billion KRW) earned across the event.
DRX CEO Can Yang stated,
“Achieving a Top 10 finish at one of the world’s most prestigious stages, the Esports World Cup, was made possible thanks to the passionate efforts of our players and the unwavering support of our fans. We will continue to utilize AI-based esports data analysis and maintain a strong global connection with our fan base to elevate both DRX and South Korean esports to greater standards."
