Most recently, DRX’s VALORANT team secured its spot at EWC 2025 on May 24th. Known for their consistent performance in the VCT Pacific League and global tournaments, the DRX VALORANT squad earned their EWC qualification through strategic execution and refined tactics, and is now set to compete on the world stage among the best of the best.
In addition, DRX VALORANT squad recently claimed the championship at the ‘HERO Esports Asian Champions League (ACL) 2025’ held in Shanghai, China, further cementing their status as the top team in Asia and raising expectations for their performance on the global stage.

In the Fight Game Community (FGC) division, DRX LeShar (Moonsup Shin) has made headlines. In March, LeShar became the first Korean player to qualify for the EWC 2025 Street Fighter 6 main event by securing 3rd place at Capcom Cup XI. On May 26th, he followed up on his exceptional performance at Capcom Cup XI by securing the championship at Combo Breaker 2025 in the U.S, once again proving himself on the global stage.
LeShar’s Combo Breaker championship marks the first international title in the Street Fighter 6 category for both himself and DRX, making it an unique milestone. With strong back-to-back performances on the global stage, LeShar has firmly established his presence internationally and is expected to be a formidable contender in the upcoming EWC 2025 Main Event.
In the TEKKEN 8 division, DRX’s legendary player KNEE (Jaemin Bae) has once again proved his dominance. At EVO Japan 2025, held in Tokyo this past May, KNEE emerged as a TEKKEN 8 champion out of a pool of approximately 9,300 participants and secured his spot at EWC 2025. This championship marked KNEE’s fourth EVO Championship and his 122nd career title, adding yet another remarkable feat to his storied legacy. KNEE continued to establish his dominance by finishing 3rd at Combo Breaker 2025 shortly after.
Following KNEE’s qualification, DRX secured another spot at EWC 2025 TEKKEN 8 division with LowHigh (Sunwoong Yoon) qualifying for the event at Combo Breaker 2025, achieving a rare feat by fielding two players to compete in the same category by the same organization.
DRX also delivered meaningful results in the mobile category. DRX PUBG Mobile team claimed the 2025 PMPS Season 1 championship and automatically qualified for the EWC 2025 PUBG Mobile Main Event. DRX PUBG Mobile has been demonstrating dominant performances in a highly competitive scene, solidifying DRX’s presence as a powerhouse in mobile esports as well.
DRX CEO Sun Il Yang stated, “Securing qualifications for four titles at EWC 2025 is a direct result of DRX’s strategy and execution as a comprehensive esports brand.” He continued, “Fans can look forward to seeing DRX players perform across a diverse range of genres - from VALORANT and TEKKEN 8 to Street Fighter 6 and PUBG Mobile.” He further added, “DRX will continue to strive to elevate the global status of South Korean esports on the world’s biggest stages.”
