[League of Legends]DRX’s ‘LazyFeel’ Becomes the First Foreign Esports Player on the Diplomatic Stage… Attends Korea–Vietnam State Banquet

12 Aug 2025

Premier esports and gaming organization DRX announced that its League of Legends player, Trần Bảo Minh (in-game name ‘LazyFeel’), was officially invited to and attended the Korea–Vietnam state banquet held on August 11 at the Blue House State Guest House in Seoul.

LazyFeel, a rising talent scouted and signed by DRX in Vietnam, made his League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) debut this year, becoming the first-ever Vietnamese national and foreign player in the league’s history. His attendance at this banquet marks the first time in history that a foreign esports player active in the LCK has been invited to such an event, making it a symbolic moment that bridges Korea and Vietnam through esports.

At the banquet, LazyFeel stood alongside the heads of Republic of Korea’s leading conglomerates as well as prominent figures from politics, finance, culture, and sports, bringing further prestige to the Korea–Vietnam state event. This invitation was a meaningful moment not only for the Vietnamese community in the Republic of Korea and his fans in Vietnam, but also for the Korean fans who have supported him. It is expected to have a positive impact on the expansion of cultural and sports exchanges between the two nations in the future.

In June of this year, LazyFeel was also invited to participate in the ‘2025 Korea Travel Festa,’ hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Leveraging his strong popularity in Vietnam, he actively engaged in various programs, interacting with local fans and promoting Korean esports and tourism content.

DRX, a premier esports and gaming company making its mark on the international stage, is committed to discovering and developing world-class players. The organization has been proactive in scouting emerging talents overseas, especially in Southeast Asia, with LazyFeel being a prime example of these efforts. Moving forward, DRX plans to continue identifying and supporting players from diverse nationalities and backgrounds who can shine on the global esports stage, while acting as a bridge between culture and sports.

Sun Il Yang, CEO of DRX, stated, “LazyFeel’s attendance at the state banquet is more than just an achievement as an esports player—it is a meaningful step in connecting the cultures and sports of Korea and Vietnam. We will continue to provide our full support so that LazyFeel can thrive on the world stage and inspire even more fans.”
