DRX's 'Andil' Moon Kwan-bin, who defied expectations and advanced to the LCK Cup playoffs, expressed his faith in head coach Cho 'Joker' Jae-eup.

DRX defeated Nongshim 3-0 in the final round of the LCK Cup play-in held at the Chijijik Arena in Gran Seoul LoL Park in Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 8th, successfully advancing to the playoffs. DRX is scheduled to play against DPlus KIA in the first round of the playoffs on the 13th.

In a post-match interview, Moon Kwan-bin expressed his joy at the victory, saying, "It feels good to make it to the playoffs, but I'm also happy that we won 3-0 with a good performance."

Ahead of the match, everyone except for global commentator Max 'Atlus' Anderson predicted Nongshim to dominate. However, DRX won with aggressive play.

Moon Kwan-bin said, "I didn't think about it at all. I prepared because I thought we were better." He continued, "We didn't have much time to prepare after the D-Plus Kia match, but that match really exposed our shortcomings as a team, so it was easier to improve. I think we were able to do well today because of the performance we improved upon."

DRX's Jiwoo "Jiwoo" Jeong Ji-woo earned the Player of the Match award for the match. However, the commentators were also generous with their praise for Moon Kwan-bin's play. "I told my teammates from the moment we warmed up before the game started," he said. "I thought we'd carry everything today. Our preparations were smooth and I was confident that the game would go well."

Regarding the changes since head coach Jo Jae-eup "Joker" Moon took over, he said, "The coach pays a lot of attention to the bottom lane, and that's helped me grow a lot." He added, "The coach is confident in his ban picks. For example, he believes, 'If this comes out, we'll definitely win,' which gives confidence to the teammates."

Moon Kwan-bin expected BNK F1X to pick them before the interview, but a rematch with DPlus KIA ended up happening. Moon Kwan-bin said, "I won't show a bad performance like in the last game," and smiled, adding, "It's BO5 from now on, but it's so much fun. I think it's a good experience before the season. I think the team is really happy because we can see that our skills are improving."
